Great Travel Camera Backpack
I've searched high and low for a backpack that would hold a lot of equipment and still have space for other things I might need on a flight.
Perfect Shoulder Bag
I use this bag when I only need my camera and a couple lenses at a shoot. This bag holds my Sony a7iii with a 70-200 lens attached as well as a smaller lens and flash.
My Favorite Lens
The only time this lens comes off of my camera is when I don't have enough room to back up. I shoot all portraits with this as well as sports and events. The real secret is to back up as far as possible and zoom that baby all the way in. The compression is 🤤 when zoomed in to 200mm at f/2.8.
My Work Horse Camera
I chose the Sony a7iii because of its versatility between photography and videography. The smaller body size has been great for traveling. This camera hasn't disappointed me yet!
Decent Lens with Low F-Stop
I had a small budget for a second lens since I spent so much on the 70-200. This lens has been great for when I need a wider shot.
Portable External SSD
I always have a few of these on hand. I keep my most recent work on one of these that always travels with me.
Godox Speedlite (Sony)
I use this flash for on and off-camera lighting. It syncs easily with the X2T trigger or you can purchase two of these and use one as a trigger.
Godox Wireless Flash Trigger
This was easy to setup and I love having the flexibility to shoot with my flash off-camera!
Variable ND Filter
When you have to shoot in bright light and want to keep your shutter speed at the "proper" speed for shooting videos, this is perfect. This fits my 70-200mm lens.
Polarizing Filter
This is great for those through-the-window shots. Reflections don't go away completely, but this helps!
Rolling Camera Case
When I need to bring all my equipment on a trip, this is the bag for it! Side note: it's really too big to use as a backpack unless you're a giant. 😆
Tripod/Monopod in One
This tripod is my favorite because it folds to a very compact size and it also can be used as a monopod!
